Green and black… Queen and priest… Trace of rouge… Face of beast…

Every year, I look forward to Halloween.  It’s my favourite time of the year:  the decorations, the costumes, the general feeling of excitement.  The feeling that was lacking this autumn.  I couldn’t quite grasp it, until I noticed that there were already Christmas decorations on the streets of Cambridge.  When I complained to my friends, they weren’t sympathetic.  “Halloween is not a big deal here”.  However, King’s Halloween Superformal was a big deal.  It’s not even October 31, and I’ve gotten my fill of skeletons and facepaint.  That and good Halloween food– everyone loves “shots of blood”, “rotten intestines”, and “eyeballs” for dessert (yes, I got a picture of the fantastic dessert, as I’d brought my lovely camera with me again).
